The water pressure and hot water supply capacity of domestic families are just very large, which can not meet the demand of water output and water temperature of large shower. Major bathroom brands also know the conditions of home decoration water output, so large shower is rarely launched in home decoration consumption channels. In hotels and high-end villas, the water supply conditions are sufficient, so the larger the top spray, the more comfortable the bath will be.
From the perspective of human applicability:
According to the width of head and shoulder, 8-10 inch shower is enough to cover the main bathing parts of the human body. The width of European human body is large, and the top sprinkling can be moderately large, but 9 inches or up to 10 inches is enough. The width of Asian human body is small. At present, there are two main materials for overhead shower head in the market, one is plastic, accounting for more than 80%, the other is stainless steel, which has become popular in recent years and occupies a certain market share, and the other is copper, which has a small amount of high-end market demand, but the cost is too high, which has become less and less at present.
Plastic shower:
Round Top Sprinkling: it is common in 6-inch, 8-inch, 9-inch and 10-inch diameters. Of course, there are smaller and larger sizes for hotel engineering needs. For large-size plastic top sprinklers, first, the cost of developing molds is high; second, the injection molding machine needs to be larger; third, the electroplating yield is low and the comprehensive cost is high. Therefore, there are few large-size plastic top sprinklers, usually 10 inches.
Square stainless steel shower head: common sizes: squares are 200mm, 220mm, 250mm, 260mm and 280mm, and square ones are mostly larger sizes, including 360 * 240300 * 200, etc., but there is no demand, the development cost and yield are low, and the comprehensive cost is high, so small-scale manufacturers rarely produce and develop.
Due to the low cost and conditions required for molds and production equipment, the above conventional sizes can also be 400mm in size or diameter, or even larger. For example, the ceiling used for high-end decoration can be more than 1000mm in size.
