The angle valve is the angle stop valve. The angle valve is similar to the spherical valve, and its structure and characteristics are modified from the spherical valve. The difference from the spherical valve is that the outlet of the angle valve is at a 90 degree right angle to the inlet. Because the pipeline forms a 90 degree corner shape at the angle valve, it is called angle valve, also known as triangle valve, angle valve and angle water valve.
It is widely used for cold and hot water inlet pipes of washbasins, toilet water tanks and shower system. The main function of the angle valve is to control the water pressure under the condition of unstable or super large water pressure, so as to avoid the bursting of the water parts in the toilet due to excessive water pressure and the leakage caused by the damage of the sealing rubber ring. The cold and hot signs are mainly to identify which is hot water and which is cold water.
Are all angle valves the same size?
Generally, it belongs to pipe thread, such as G1 / 2, the inner hole is about 19, G3 / 4, and the inner hole is about 24.5. There are several specifications of angle valve. The one with 15 turns is four points; 20 turns, that’s six minutes. The usual basin valve interface is 15 turns. The 20 turn inner wire elbow is mostly used for cold and hot water pipes.
