1、 How to install the angle valve.
1. Raw material belt and hemp, and liquid raw material belt
All three can be used for thread sealing. When used in large quantities, hemp wrapping and lead oil are more economical, and the household raw meal belt is more convenient. The newer liquid raw meal belt is actually an anaerobic glue, which is applied on the thread to prevent leakage. The disadvantage is that it takes a few hours to a day to test the water. The advantage is that it won’t leak without tightening (which is more convenient on large-diameter threads).
2. When do I need to wrap the raw material belt.
When can’t you wrap the raw material belt? The place sealed by the thread needs to wrap the raw material belt. The place sealed by the rubber gasket can’t wrap the raw material belt. If it is wrapped, it is easy to leak. The common places sealed by threads are: the corner valve is connected to the wall, the water nozzle is connected to the wall, the matching wire (including the bending foot of the water mixing faucet) is connected to the wall, and the thread of the tee is connected; Common places that do not need to wrap the raw material belt for sealing by rubber gasket include: hose angle valve, wire to wire connection hose, bent foot to wire connection to water mixing tap, shower hose connection to water mixing tap and nozzle, and various flexible joints with rubber gasket.
2、 Precautions for installation position of angle valve.
Professional personnel shall be invited for installation, and it is required to be installed in a place with good drainage to avoid accidental losses; Before installation, please be sure to clean the sand and sundries connected to the water outlet pipe to prevent blocking the ceramic chip and causing water leakage; During installation, do not hold the hand wheel of the angle valve by hand to rotate and fasten. Wrap several layers of cloth or paper towels and other buffers on the valve body, and then clamp the valve body with a wrench to rotate and fasten. If the valve body is clamped directly without a buffer, the surface of the angle valve may be scratched and the appearance may be affected. After installation, the main valve shall be opened for water inlet and the angle valve shall be tested for leakage. Generally, the water inlet can be confirmed only after pressurizing for about 15 minutes. If the angle valve is not installed on the water pipe, the angle valve shall be closed.
