1、 Preparations before installation of shower faucet
1. Before the installation of shower faucet, the installation tools need to be prepared. Before the installation, check whether the supporting parts are complete. The general shower faucet accessories include: hose, rubber washer, shower, decorative cap, water removal, abductor, etc.
2. The shower faucet generally refers to the cold and hot water mixing switch. Generally, the cold water is on the right and the hot water is on the left. Therefore, during installation, it is necessary to pay special attention to the left and right directions of the shower faucet, and determine the best installation after seeing the valve core of the faucet.
2、 Installation height of shower faucet
1. The height between the shower faucet mixing valve and the ground should be determined first. Before installing the shower faucet, the installation position needs to be determined. The distance between the mixing valve of the shower faucet and the ground should be controlled between 90-100 cm, which can be adjusted according to the height of the family. However, the minimum height shall not be less than 110cm, otherwise the water from the shower faucet may not enter smoothly.
2. Generally speaking, after the shower faucet is installed, the reserved wire head should be just buried in the ceramic tile on the wall, and it is best to cover it with ceramic tile decoration, otherwise it may affect the beauty of the shower faucet. Therefore, when laying water pipes, it is best to consider the reserved position clearly. Its height generally needs to be 15mm higher than that of the blank wall, so that the wire head can be buried after the ceramic tile is pasted, so as to ensure the beauty and tidiness of the wall.
3. When installing wall mounted shower faucets, the distance between cold and hot water pipes should be about 15cm. Before installation, it is necessary to do a good job of measurement. You can soak the water pipe with a water pipe first to avoid damage to the faucet caused by too hard water quality.
3、 Installation steps of shower faucet
1. First, clean the area where the shower faucet needs to be installed, turn on the water source, and clean the sediment impurities in the water supply pipe and the impurities in the installation hole. Be sure to determine whether the accessories of the shower faucet to be installed are complete. If they are incomplete, you need to ask the merchant to avoid the imperfect accessories during installation.
2. When installing, first fix the elbow on the water outlet joint of the wall with a wrench. It is best to wrap a plastic bag at the water inlet to avoid water leakage of the water pipe. Then put the flange into the bent foot water outlet and rotate it close to the wall.
3. Install the plastic sealing gasket on the nut of the shower faucet and connect the bent foot in the wall. Cut the fixed position of the shower faucet according to the actual installation height. During installation, first install the fixed seat at the specified position. The fixing needs to be drilled with an electric drill. The hole depth needs to be matched with the installation gecko, and then directly fix the screw cap.
4. Connect the hand-held shower with the hose, and connect the other end of the hose with the hot and cold faucet switch. Then put the hand-held sprinkler on the fixed seat, and the installation of the shower faucet is completed.
