The core of thermostatic shower is thermostatic valve core, which is basically the same. Most of them are one or two suppliers, The principle and structure of the valve core are also very similar: the mixing ratio of cold and hot water is controlled by paraffin package or memory alloy (in principle, the temperature control precision of the product with paraffin temperature package is higher, but the service life is shorter; the temperature control precision of the product with memory alloy is weaker than that of the paraffin temperature package, but the service life is longer). In essence, they are a proportional automatic control mechanism and a self-supporting control mechanism.
Which water heaters are equipped with thermostatic showers:
1. Water heater or hot water system with too large difference in cold and hot water pressure or unstable cold and hot water pressure:
Open hot water system, such as open solar water heater, or open hot water system in commercial hot water (large open water tank is adopted, and hot water needs secondary pressurization). In this kind of system, the pressure difference between zero cold water and hot water is too large and unstable. If constant temperature shower is adopted, the temperature control accuracy will be very poor, and periodic temperature fluctuations, cold and hot, can be obviously felt.
Fast or instant hot water system: such as gas instant hot water heater and dual-purpose furnace in gas wall mounted furnace, i.e. thermal electric water heater. Although these water heaters are closed systems, the pressure drop of cold water passing through these water heaters is too large. When it is mixed with cold water with high pressure again at the constant temperature shower, it is easy to lead to the reduction of control accuracy caused by too large pressure difference on both sides, This leads to cold and hot.
2. Water heater or hot water system with high hot water temperature.
Some closed solar systems have no temperature control device. When the sunshine intensity is relatively high, the temperature will rise to 70-80 degrees or even higher, which deviates too much from the original working conditions of the thermostatic shower, resulting in poor control effect of the thermostatic shower.
The minimum heating power of some gas wall mounted furnaces or gas instant water heaters is too large. When the cold water temperature in summer is high, the constant temperature shower will automatically turn down the hot water flow, and these hot water equipment have been reduced to the minimum power, which will heat the hot water to a very high temperature, which deviates too much from the original design working conditions of the constant temperature shower, resulting in poor control effect of the constant temperature shower. Even when the constant temperature shower in this case further automatically reduces the hot water flow, which is lower than the minimum starting flow of the equipment, the equipment will automatically shut down, resulting in more serious temperature fluctuations: the equipment will shut down, the hot water temperature will drop suddenly, the water temperature will also drop suddenly after mixing, the constant temperature valve core will increase the flow at the hot water side again, the equipment will ignite again, and the water temperature will rise, Then start the cycle.
3. Water heater or hot water system with low hot water temperature.
For some air energy water heaters Systems or solar water heaters Systems, when the outdoor temperature is low or the sunshine conditions are poor in winter, the water temperature can only reach 40-45 degrees. At this time, the constant temperature shower will close the cold water and use almost all the hot water. Although it can operate reluctantly, the control accuracy will be very poor, which is prone to sudden cold and heat.

Constant temperature shower is not absolute constant temperature. It must create good external working conditions for it in order to achieve the effect of constant temperature .

The pressure of hot and cold water is the same, and it is better that the hot and cold water share the same pressure.
The hot and cold water pressure remains relatively constant.
The hot water temperature remains relatively constant without sudden temperature change (constant temperature shower can eliminate relatively slow temperature change).
