Water inlet part
For most ordinary faucets, the water inlet part generally refers to the water inlet pipe. For shower faucets, the water inlet part is connected by two accessories called “curved feet”. The outer layer of the pipe is called braided protective layer, and the inner layer has a plastic pipe to drain water. The two ends of the single cooling faucet are four-point interfaces. There are some cold and hot faucets, such as the split cold and hot faucet, and the bathtub faucet is also connected with this kind of pipe. One end of the pipe equipped with the cold and hot faucet is a quarter joint, which is used for connecting the angle valve, and the other end is an interface specially used for connecting the cold and hot valve core.
When buying shower faucets, many businesses are equipped with water inlet hoses. For water inlet hoses, first, we should measure the distance from the corner valve to the faucet installation hole at home to determine how long the hose needs to be enough. Second, check the quality of the hose, make a knot for the soft bending, or break several places. If the hose rebounds well, the one without damage is of better quality. If it cannot rebound after being folded, the quality of the pipe like broken is poor.
Fixing part
As the name suggests, the fixed part is to fix the faucet at a certain position to prevent it from shaking. For the shower faucet, the fixed part is the curved foot mentioned above. The curved foot plays a very important role. First, it is necessary to connect the water inlet, second, it is necessary to adjust the spacing, and third, it is necessary to fix the stress, so when you buy the shower, you must pay attention to this accessory, 304 stainless steel or thickened copper shall be selected, and iron shall not be considered, so as to prevent the flower shower from rusting and cannot be removed in the future. Copper should also be thicker. The copper material is relatively soft. If the wire mouth on the surface of the curved foot is a little deeper, it is easy to pierce. If it is perforated, it will leak. We have encountered this problem in mass engineering before. The hardness of 304 stainless steel is relatively high. Don’t be too thin.
For ordinary faucets, the most common and used fixings are pipe feet and horseshoes. Horseshoe is the first fastener used. Its advantage is that it is suitable for most installation holes. A single screw has little requirements for opening, as long as it can pass through. The disadvantage is that it only depends on one screw to fix the faucet. For some heavy and large faucets, it always feels that the force is not enough and not so firm. Nowadays, pin fixings are more common. Pins must be much stronger than screws, but pin fixings have requirements for opening, which should be within a certain diameter range.
When purchasing the faucet, if it is installed on the stainless steel vegetable washing basin in the kitchen, the ordinary pin is universal; If it is installed on the table and needs to be perforated on the table, it is recommended to know the diameter of the pin first, or buy the faucet first and then open the hole; If the washbasin is installed on the washbasin, the pin of the washbasin with only one installation hole is universal. Pay attention to the washbasin with three installation holes. The hole is relatively small and can only be installed with a double hole faucet. The pin of a single hole faucet is too large to install.
