How Should The Water tank Be Equipped?

When selecting the floor heating system, if the heat source gas-fired boiler is generally used, the use of domestic hot water should be considered. Every time you turn on the faucet and want to use hot water, the first thing to flow out is the residual cold water in the water pipe. In other words, you need to drain the cold water to have hot water. If you waste water, it will also affect the use experience. If we want to achieve “zero cold water” and keep hot water in the hot water pipe at all times, we should establish a set of hot water circulation system during decoration. As the name suggests, the hot water circulation system is to circulate the hot water. At regular intervals, the hot water can return to the water heater for reheating. However, we have a simpler solution to this problem.

As we have higher and higher requirements for living standards, we will require that hot water be available as soon as we turn on the faucet when washing our hands and faces. Don’t wait for a long time. We also have higher requirements for bathing. Constant temperature, comfort and instant heating are all basic requirements. Some trenches will choose high-grade flower sprinklers such as Hans Geya and Gaoyi, Realize five-star bathing enjoyment.

As one of the components of the domestic hot water system, the water tank can meet the needs of comfortable hot water at low cost. Many people have to choose other heat source systems to adapt to the domestic hot water. In my opinion, it is too wasteful.

A01So how to choose a suitable water tank? The principle of considering the distribution tank is that you will have a constant temperature hot water demand at any time. Here, the total water consumption and instantaneous water flow are required to be sufficient.

Let’s take an example. If the water output of your shower is 10L / min, you should take a bath for half an hour every time, the total water consumption is 300 liters, and the bath temperature is 45 °

There are two ideas. The first one is a coil less water tank. Assuming that the water inlet temperature is 5 ° in winter and the water in the water tank is heated to 60 ° C, the domestic hot water required is 45 °, that is, it is decreasing by 15 °, then the water tank needs 300 * (45-5) / (60-45) = 800 litres. The 800 litre water tank can meet the bathing demand in winter, but it has the disadvantages of being too large and bulky and high cost. What can I do if I want to save some cost?

The second idea is to add heat exchange coil in the water tank.

Many people don’t know the heat exchange coil of the water tank. The heat exchange coil can heat the water in the water tank while using domestic hot water, Similar to the large-sized one, the heat is fast (the one that boils water, I don’t know if anyone still uses it now?), the power of this heat exchange coil is high, and the water heat of the water tank is fast, otherwise it is slow. For the same 200 liter water tank, some manufacturers can achieve 30kW power, and some manufacturers can only 4kw power (reduce the cost)

Assuming a total water consumption of 300 liters and a 4kw heat exchange coil, If 86 liters (4 * 860 / 40) of 40 ° hot water is burned every hour, 43 liters will be burned in half an hour, and the remaining 257 liters (300-43) of hot water will be solved by the water tank, and the water tank will be 257 * 40 / 15 = 685 liters. If it is a 30kW heat exchange coil and the heat source is a 24kw boiler, 516 liters of hot water will be burned every hour and 258 liters of hot water will be burned in 30 minutes. As long as the water tank is supplemented with 42 liters of water, 42 * 40 / 15 = 112 liters will be required.

Therefore, the general domestic water tank is a closed water storage tank with heat exchange coil. When you consider the comfort of domestic hot water, you should give good consideration to the allocation of water tank.
